We gathered at Munich's Marienplatz, right in the center of town, close to all the street photography hotspots. The day started with an introduction of the 16 participants, followed by a critique of our photos. Thomas showed improvement possibilities and gave tips and tricks for shooting in the street. After that theory was put into practice and the photographers hit the street to try out the principles that Thomas had outlined. In the afternoon we gathered again to look at the shots that had been taken. The day ended with a joined meal and reflections over the many experiences made during the day. Hanna, aus Berlin, ursprünglich von der Waterkant, auf Besuch in München. Und sie brachte Ihren bayerischen Hut mit, den wir am Starnberger See in Szene setzten. Hanna hatte bereits beim Projekt "52 People" mitgemacht und auch dieses Photoshooting war lustig und unkompliziert. Die  Frühlingssonne sorgte für genügend Licht und warme Farben.

Just spent Chinese New Year in Hongkong with the fabulous team from Within the Frame: Winslow Lockhardt and Jefferey Chapman. Unfortunately I was ill for some part of the photo excursion, so didn't get to shoot as much as I would have liked to. Still Hongkong was a great photographic experience: the diversity of people and the variety of locations made it very worthwhile. You can see more photos from the trip here.

As a theme we selected a camouflage setting where Nadja was painted into a tree. For over three hours Nadja endured the cold and rain; shivering for art. Nadja was painted by fabulous make-up artist Nadja Hluchovsky. Boyfriend Tino, who is also a bodypainting model, helped with holding the umbrella und supplying Nadja with hot tea. The results were more than worth the effort. Thanks for the great teamwork!

Supported by wonderful model Coco we took some great photos in a nearly empty airport; unusual for an early weekday evening. The second shooting with Coco was in a modern and innovative office of a company in the fashion industry. As a light, airy and friendly environment it set a nice contast to the theme of sadness and thoughtfulness. Stay tuned for more photos from this shooting.
